In case you have not heard... We are GETTING MARRIED in June. Then... wait for it.... we are moving to CALIFORNIA! Actually, Luke is already there so this blog will be a great way for us to both keep everyone updated. He is much better at "blogging" than I am, but he just started seminary in LA so I am not sure how often he will post on this blog. Don't worry... I will keep you posted!
Like I said Luke has already moved to California and is LOVING it. I have to admit that I am a bit envious of the nice weather that he gloats about as I sit inside trying to stay out of cold. I am excited to become his wife and move where the Lord has called us. I know we are both ready to live in the same state considering that when the wedding day arrives we will have spent a year living in different states. Sure... I am nervous and anxious about moving that far away from GA, but I am so ready to JUMP! Luke has been a driving force in helping me get places that I may have never branched out to without his encouragement. I am thankful for a Father who realizes strength and weakness in his children and so graciously pairs them together. Those who know us know that there are areas where we tend to be very similar, however, adventure and risk are not on that list. This exsperience is teaching and shaping me in to the person that God has created me to be and I am so glad that Luke and I will be able to do this journey together! We are totally pumped to see what God has in store and just can't wait for June 26th to arrive!
